Our degradable mycelium dog urns are crafted from 100% natural and sustainable materials. The primary component is living mycelium—the vegetative part of fungi that forms an intricate network of thread-like structures—combined with agricultural byproducts.

This innovative biomaterial is heat-treated to stop the growing process at the perfect stage, creating a solid, stable form without using glues or synthetic binders. The result is a completely biodegradable product that's free from chemicals and plastics, with a minimal carbon footprint during production.

When in contact with soil or water, the urn naturally decomposes, releasing nutrients that enrich the surrounding environment. Each urn varies slightly in color and texture due to the natural growing process, reflecting the unique character of your relationship with your pet.

Filling your biodegradable mycelium dog urn is a straightforward process designed to be simple:

1. Gently remove the lid of the urn, which is designed to fit securely without requiring tools.
   
2. Pour your dog's ashes directly into the urn—the wide opening makes this easy without needing a funnel. There's room for small biodegradable mementos if you wish to include them.
   
3. For sealing, you have two options depending on your plans:

• If burying soon: Simply place the lid back onto the base without adhesive for optimal decomposition.
  
• If displaying temporarily: You may use a small amount of biodegradable adhesive, though we recommend avoiding adhesives when possible.

Remember that the mycelium urn is primarily designed for burial and will begin to deteriorate if exposed to moisture or high humidity. For display longer than a few weeks, keep it in a dry environment with minimal handling.
