Grief isn’t one-size-fits-all. Neither is our urn.

Fill Your Return Urn in 5 Easy Steps

If you feel comfortable filling the Return urn yourself, follow the guidelines below. Otherwise, you can request support from friends, family, or your funeral director.

Before you begin, gather these supplies:

  • Return urn
  • Paper or cloth
  • Your pet's ashes

  1. Place paper or cloth on a flat surface.
  2. Open the Return urn and set the bottom part on the paper or cloth.
  3. Open the bag containing your pet's ashes.
  4. Gradually pour the ashes into the bottom of the urn, gently shaking to distribute them. Continue until the bag is empty or the urn is full.
  5. Carefully position the top of the Return urn on the bottom and close gently. Do not press. Always lift the Return urn with both hands holding the lower part.

You may also place the bag with your pet's ashes directly into the urn instead of pouring them out. Ensure the bag is 100% biodegradable and dye-free for an eco-friendly burial.
